Note: Volume containing two texts, both French translations of Latin works, made for Philip the Good, duke of Burgundy.; Mentioned in the inventories of 1469 and 1485. From 1794 to 1815 at the Bibliothèque nationale in Paris.; The second text (French translation by Jacques Bauchant of Pseudo-Seneca) is also in MS 9359-60. The version in these manuscripts has an altered prologue, which is dedicated to Philip the Good, and no longer to Charles V of France, the original dedicacee.
